Hi, I transferred 2 embryos because of my age (41) to increase the chances of one sticking. I’m now 12dp5dt and my HCG blood test has come back measuring 1730. Anyone else with twins started off with the same levels? Obviously I won’t know until the scan in 2 weeks but it would be helpful to hear about others’ experiences? Thank you!

HCG levels at 4weeks pregnant - possibly twins?
It’s certainly in “range” but difficult to say with any certainty. I didn’t have hcg levels tested that late with my twins but I didn’t get a clearblue 3+ weeks until 16dp5dt and the level for that is around 2700
My hcg levels at 13dp5dt were 1564, I had an ultrasound on Friday which showed I am pregnant with twins (we did a double embryo transfer). At the time my clinic did say they wouldn’t be able to tell from that number alone and that it could be one strong one. You never know 😊 xxx
My levels at 14dp5dt were 2800 and I just had a singleton in there ☺️ Congratulations on your pregnancy! Xx
My levels were about that with two, at 6 week scan twins were confirmed but by 9 weeks one had disappeared, very common apparently. The other is still going strong & im now 29 weeks pregnant. Best of luck Xx
My levels were higher and it’s a Singleton. I was told that initial high hcg are not always a sign for twins but a good start really as it sounds reassuring. Congratulations!!
Huge congrats! I think you should prepare for twins but there really is no way of knowing until you have that first scan but my levels were less than that at 13dp5dt and Im having twins (2 embryos put back). One of my cycle buddies had 1 embryo put back and had very high levels, around the same as yours and is only having one. Good luck.xx
Thank you for the reply! How far along are you now?
I am 24wks now so getting there!xx
Amazing and so inspiring! Best of luck for the rest of the pregnancy 🤰 and I will let you know if it’s twins.
