I wanted to update everyone who followed my journey.
After changing clinic and seeing a new doctor i was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and endometriosis (which iv had on and of) and that was the explanation to my last failed 3 cycles.
i just don't understand how my previous doctor didn't see it and why i did the transfers before having it treated. all that waisted time and good quality embryos is just frustrating.
i will be on a treatment of decapeptyl (treatment for ademyosis) shoots twice before my next IVF cycle but i will be taking a month or two more just to relax and get ready to travel as i do all my treatments abroad. its just more affordable for us.
Hopefully cycle number 8 is the Lucky one.
my thoughts and prayers are with everyone going through this journey.
Much love to everyone

Hi Chantysal, so sorry that you were diagnosed so late and had “wasted” good quality embryos But I admire you for not looking backward and glad you have a good plan in place with your new doctor/clinic.
I also have adenomyosis and endometriosis but I’ve been very fortunate to have been diagnosed relatively quickly.
We are also doing our ivf cycle with a clinic abroad (Greece) - we were supposed to have a frozen transfer in February but have decided to push it back to Spring instead. Hopefully the travel restrictions will be more relaxed and less stressful!
thank u so much for your reply. i always try to be positive and not look back that's the best thing we can do as i can't change anything anyways. its so sad that a doctor would miss something like that as when my new clinic did the scan and the doctor pointed it out it showed clearly in the scan what as there. oh well :)are u doing any treatments for it? i think I'm also pushing my cycle to spring . my fingers crossed for u
My clinic have suggested 2 months of down-regulation with Prostap. They hope this will reduce the size of uterus and reduce any inflammation (both are common with adenomyosis). I am hoping this makes a difference!
I look forward to following your journey 😊 and hope 2021 is an amazing year for us both x
Can i ask in which country are you doing it? and more or less price? I am starting the process and here in UK I dont qualify for NHS though and here it is expensive!
I travel to lebanon there are two excellent doctors there and clinics. Prices are Way less.( cos the lebanese pound now lost ita value somehow so the exchange rate is high) The ivf cost is 1600 usd and the meds go around 600 or so. My parents live there so its been convinient for me. I hear allot travel to Spain and greece even Cyprus
