I just want to rant. I am really frustrated with my clinic at the moment. This is my third cycle with them and I feel like they see me as a lost cause and are justing taking my money and doing the bare minimum.
The first 2 cycles were great, they were informative, professional. I paid in advance for this 3 cycle with them (5th overall). They advised additional treatment for this protocol (steroids and intralipids), but forgot to add it to my treatment plan until I pointed it out. Then they listed my drugs but missed the dates to start and doses for some. Now I'm due to start my meds today, but I haven't received them, even after chasing them for weeks!
I feel like they have my money and think I have no chance, so are putting in minimum effort.

that sounds really poor - I hope you have also ranted at them!!! I’m sure they haven’t written you off, more just poor organisation- sometimes the clinics admin is bloody awful.
Thank you and yes I've definitely given them a piece of my mind! Luckily I have left over meds from the last FET, but I don't have the additional meds they prescribed for this cycle like Prednisolone which I'm supposed to start today. 😫
I spoke to my coordinator and received apologies.. but I've had several lately for one mishap after another. They're located in Spain, and forgot to give the pharmacist my prescription. Then when I chased them today, they sent it, but forgot to send the password (why would you encrypt the prescription to the pharmacist is anyone's guess!!?) until the pharmacist chased for it! I'm one day behind taking the Prednisolone. Luckily I've digged thorough the cupboards and found left over Progynova from the last FET.
Hotel and flights are already booked, and time off worked organized so we can't postpone.
I understand your frustration with the clinic's recent lapses in attention to detail. It's important to advocate for yourself and communicate your concerns to your coordinator. If the issues persist, it might be helpful to escalate them to the clinic's management for resolution. You deserve to feel supported and confident in your clinic's ability to assist you during your treatment journey. Good luck on your journey! xx
Sounds bloody crap!We had similar with a clinic in England and we became so so unhappy with them. Ultimately it was admin things too but it made me feel so bad and I cried whenever I turned up to the clinic. That's when I knew it was time to switch. (it had gone on a long time though and over multiple things, so hopefully they can now sort yours and you'll feel better for when you get there!)
What day of your cycle were you due to start the steroids, because there are MANY protocols with steroids and some docs do from 1st day of cycle, others day 3/4 of cycle, but many do just before FET or even day of transfer. So hopefully if you take them a bit late you can still get the clinical benefit. I would perhaps insist that your consultant talks to you to reassure you if this is the case?? X
Thanks, I hope the other clinic you selected is much better! I was supposed to start taking it on the 12th, I ended up starting it on the 14th, so only 2 days late. My transfer is 1st March so hopefully it doesn't impact me too much in the grand scheme of things.
