Ovulation testing

Hi you lovely lot!

I had a failed fresh cycle in December, I have had a follow up appointment with my clinic to discuss a frozen transfer.

They have suggested I go natural with this transfer and advised to use ovulation tests twice a day from day 8 of my next cycle.

My question is, can anybody recommend the best ovulation testing kits that you've used? I've had varied results in the past!

Not sure if that's allowed to ask on here, so pm me if needed!!

Thank you 😘

Ooh, I hope you find one! Sadly I can't recommend any as I've tried just about every brand I could find and none of them work for me, I have to rely on blood tests or bbt to confirm I've ovulated xx

Thank you, I'm a bit skeptical if I'm honest about the whole process, but I suppose I have to trust their recommendations! Xx

Hey, how about the clear blue digital ovulation tests? They’ve always worked well for me (I usually use them in conjunction with internet cheapie sticks just incase!) xx

Thank you! I've used the clear blue digital ones before, where you put a strip in each day, and it broke on me 😣 I'll still probably go back to clear blue though xx

Thanks again, can I ask, did you use the clear blue ones that gave you your most fertile 2 or 4 days? Xx

Hey chicky, I use the ones that give you your fertile days and then your peak day (the ones with the flashy smiley for high fertility days and then the steady smiley for peak fertility day) xx

Hi Chicky- Like Mini has said below, I always had the best results with Clearblue ovulation Test- Advanced Digital as they give you an idea of when peak is coming. I also use the cheapie ovulation sticks as well to confirm my LH peak (can use a few throughout the day without worrying about the cost). I found the 'Easy@Home Ovulation Test Strips' the easiest to read and they were less than £15 on Amazon for 50 strips. Good luck xx

Amazing! Thank you so much. I'm going to go for the Clear blue advanced, and I'll look into cheapie one from Amazon xx

Good luck with your FET! I had a failed fresh in Dec too so I know how tough it is. I really hope this is the round for you xx

Sorry to hear that. Thank you very much. Hope all is ok with you too xx

Hi 🙋‍♀️ I’ve tried the cheap ovulation sticks but they never worked for me. The only ones that have are the clear blue ones, these ones check for the estrogen rise and LH surge. Good luck with everything x
