Hey, glad to hear you are ok and that the process didn’t take to long. I am in for my egg retrieval next week, so long as I have enough follicles and they are the right size. I only have 4 at the moment. I’ve been told it’s not about the quantity, more about the quality.. you may have super duper top quality ones! Wishing you the best of luck! X
I got 8 collected and 5 made it to blastocysts and I am now currently 33 weeks pregnant with the first one of my 5 blastocysts that was used with 4 more in the freezer. Don’t panic 7 is a loverly number. Quality over quantity xxx good luck 😉
So glad its done for you, we had 10 eggs collected and ended up with 8 blastocysts 😊 so I would say don't worry too much about the statistics, fingers crossed for you xx
Aww best wishes to you 🥰🤗 we had 21 eggs collected and only 4 made it. Quality over quantity for sure! They told me next time they want less eggs and better quality so are changing my drugs. X
Definitely quality over quantity! I had my collection in November and they collected 23 eggs, 16 fertilised and have ended up with 4 in the freezer. Some of the others who have written have had less collected but more embryos to freeze- all about quality 🤗 Fingers crossed for good quality blastocysts for you!
I read Izzy Judd’s book Dare to Dream before going through this process, she had 21 collected and ended up with 3 blastocysts, so I feel this managed my expectations before I went in. Sending you baby dust! X
I had my egg collection on Monday I had an awful night with pain throughout the whole night felt sick, faint and sweaty have been attending the clinic all week, thankfully my ovaries didn't twist, my bloods came back OK unsure of why this happened. Only 3 of my 10 eggs were developing, poorly ok, but they decided to transfer on day 3, my transfer yesterday two on board the tww 😳 just best taking it day by day as it comes, and distract your mind I find doing arrowords helpful sending you lots of baby dust 💖
