I had a failed FET with a 6day 5AA embryo. It was a perfect embryo and my lining was great. What could go wrong ?

Sorry for your disappointing news :(

Unfortunately that is just the way it goes in IVF world. Disappointment is par for the course.

Grading is just a *guess* about embryo quality - IVF is more of an art than a science. I've never had an embryo graded above a *b* and it's worked for me. A's work for a lot, but if you look at past posts you'll see a lot just like your's.

Next you'll have a WTF Consult with your RE and they'll discuss their thoughts. More likely than not the embryo wasn't viable. Depending on your age and your diagnosis they may make changes for round 2 or they may wait and see.

Best of luck next go!
