Hi, just looking for any success stories of a successful FET on a lining on the thinner side. I’m currently prepping for a FET after 2 cancelled transfer cycles due to a thin lining. I need all the hope and successful stories I can get. I don’t think I can deal with another cancelled cycle 😫.

Successful FET on a thin lining?
Good morning. My lining was slightly lower than where the clinic wanted it to be but as it was triple lined and looked ok they allowed me to transfer my 3bc frozen embryo. It was 7.8mm and they said they wanted it over 8mm. All worked out for us though as we now have a little boy from that cycle. I guess it just depends on how thin your lining is? Wishing you every success with your next transfer xx
Morning, I’ve always struggled with my lining and had 3 FETs cancelled as a result so can understand how you feel. In the end they realised I was resistant to artificial estrogen so my lining never thickened despite the high levels of medication they threw at it... On all the cycles my lining started to break down before it got above 6mm. In the end I did a natural cycle and they wanted my lining between 7&8mm, it got to 7.4mm so they triggered ovulation. I’m 17 weeks pregnant now. If you’ve got a regular cycle and you’ve not tried it it’s worth a go. Some clinics aren’t fans as it’s harder to predict when transfer will be. I really doubted it would work if my body wouldn’t respond to medication but it was fine. I’m sure you’ve tried all the things you can do to help but if not let me know. Wishing you lots of luck xxx
What thickness do you get to? I don’t respond to artificial estrogen- I got my lining to an all time 8-9mm with menopur stimulation- ended in chemical pregnancy but in July I got to 6.8mm with fresh and I got prengnant but miscarried at 7weeks but that’s for another reason - I was told ima. Thin liner ans that’s just me! So my consultant is happy to transfer with me anything above 6mm....
I took vitamin E 1000 IU avacado ans pomegranate juice too... who knows if it worked. Xx but with ur Fet maybe try menopur stimulation?
Hey there. My Dr mentioned to me that quality is more important than thickness and he has had success just below 6mm if it’s trilaminar. I hope that helps somehow xx
Hello,I just wanted to say that I also have a very thin lining and was cancelled 4/5times due to not getting to 6mm. I have eventually been able to get to 7mm (7.8 was the record!) and just had a BFP from my third FET.
Im not out the woods yet, I feel extremely nervous but I wanted to give you some hope that an embryo can make it on a thin lining!
Good luck and message me if I can help in anyway xxx
Thank you so much. The clinic doesn’t think I will get past 6.5 so considering this is my third attempt to get to 7, I’m going to go for a transfer anyway and hope that I’m one of those lucky people. Best of luck to you.
Have you tried drinking raspberry leaf tea (leaf not flavoured) and taking raspberry leaf tablets? I took these alongside vit E and my FET meds and got my best ever lining and we got a BFP with twins. Good luck.xx
***UPDATE**** after 10 days of taking progynova, patches and clexane shots, I was only at 6.3 😫. As this was my third attempt and my endometrium was triliminar, we decided to go ahead with the transfer.
I transferred 2 thawed embryos today and I’m so shocked. My lining increased from 6.3to 8.1!!! After 3 years of disappointments, miscarriages and breaking up with my partner (we are going to co parent) I was really happy about this.
Now the 2ww wait begins!
That’s amazing! I’ve struggled with thin lining too and had such variations with measurements. That’s a great increase. Keeping everything crossed for your BFP xx
Baby dust for you!! I am prepping for a FET. I have a 5AA female and a 5BB male both PGS tested. I’m so nervous because of my age.
Thank you so much 😊
I am currently 11 weeks and transferred with 6.5 mm lining. Best of luck to you! ❤️
Thank you for responding! That’s amazing/inspiring to read. Good luck with the pregnancy and congratulations!!
hi msze & murielsmom sorry if i jumping on your post.
msze can i ask what make your clinic decided give a go transfer with 6.5 mm? and is that singletons or twins?
coz today i just get scanned after took more aweek the results from 5 to 6.5mm. and i’m abit nervous waiting to ring clinic this afternoon.
thank you xx
My lining was trilateral and my doctor said that was the most important thing - more so than the mm.
okay, thank you xx
Same, the clinic said the quality of the lining is more important than the thickness, so I was cleared to transfer on what was 6.3 at the time. I had a double embryo transfer. Also don’t underestimate those extra 5 days when you start progesterone. It may increase the thickness a bit too.
