Hi everyone

I have been waiting to post on here as I didn’t want to tempt fate (I still feel a little anxious). However I wanted to post my update to give hope to other ladies who may bleed in early pregnancy. I had a massive bleed just after my positive test result (15dp5dt) with clots and was bright red which lasted nearly 4 days. My clinic upped my progesterone and monitored my bloods for nearly a week. I honestly thought I had miscarried and had prepared myself for bad news.

At 7 weeks 4 days, I had an early viability scan which confirmed the pregnancy was viable and a heartbeat was seen!

Today, I have had a further scan at 9 weeks 5 days and all is well. The heartbeat was found straight away and the baby was moving around. It was just crazy to see!

My only concern is that the baby is measuring a day out at 9 weeks 4 days but the sonographer said not to worry about a day here or there as the measurements can be hard when so small - has anyone else had experience of this? I’m a natural worrier so I can’t be 100% positive... I drive myself mad!

🤞🏼This little one continues to grow and stick and we get to full term! I am going to be happy tonight as we have crossed another hurdle!

Thank you for reading ladies and baby dust to all xxx

Hi hun, firstly congratulations ❤️ I measured a day behind on three early scans 7wks, 9wks & 11 wks. Like you I was naturally worried but assured by the sonographer is normal as the baby is super tiny! My last scan which was at 16+3 I was actually measuring 5 days ahead so they can certainly catch up & have growth spurts! Lots of love X
