Hi ladies... just wondered with all that’s going on... How long did you back from your fertility clinic after referral? Thk you

I think we had the first appointment about 2 months after referral. However, this was private as there is no NHS funding in my area and I believe NHS waiting is much longer, and also this was before the first lockdown. I can imagine the waits are longer now, although my clinic has said they caught up from lockdown 1 pretty quickly. Hope you get seen soon xx

Ohh ok so not too bad then in terms of the wait.... we’ll be self funding so not sure did this makes a difference at an nhs hospital ( I doubt it though) we’ll just have to wait and see....hope everything is ok with you and your journey so far😘

Hello, if you are self-funding, do you have to wait to hear back from the clinic? I went private without any referral. Just had a consultation and started the process straightaway with no waiting time.

Nope.. I have no experience with NHS hospitals so I’m sorry if I can’t be of help! I just chose one of the clinics listed under Access fertility

Ok, no worries. I’ll be happy to wait especially in these times but just thought I’d get the ball rolling so hopefully get a fet by the summer.... god willing 🤞
