This are the broken down steps of mine from when I went yours may be different (also rough dates from memory)

- 6/12/13 - went for a chat was told IVF was definitely the way forward but hubby had to do one more sperm test just to check that the first results were still the same, plus I held my hands up that I was social smoker and they said I had to quit for 3 months

- 23/01/14 - hubby went back for sperm analysis

- 13/02/14 - went back for those results, they said we could start the IVF and to call back on my next day 1.

- 17/02/14 - day 1, called up and made my appointment for day 5. They said it was to early to start the injections this month, due to funding paperwork needing to be processed and we needed tests doing.

- 21/02/14 - back to the clinic went through all the paperwork and signed lots of form. We had 3 bloody tests done each to check for any illnesses we could be carrying, that could pass on to baby. Had an internal scan done. Sent away and told to call back on the next day 1.

- 20/03/14 - day 1 again, I called to let them know and they've sent me out out schedule of appointments, which should go like this if all goes to plan...

- 9/04/14 - first appointment, first injection starts (daily injection for 2 weeks)

- 23/04/14 - scan and second injection starts

- 02/05/14 - second scan

- 06/05/14 - booked in for theater one day this week

Test 2 weeks later :-)

Hi Belle I'm at the same stage as you. Actually receiving the letter is the 1st hurdle! It seems to be taken ages so much so that I've looked at treatment abroad. My patience is wearing thin & I'm becoming stressed out by it all! Everything takes far too long in this country! X

I started all my investigation tests in June and have a group meeting about IVF treatment on Thursday. The waiting is really annoying. I'm not sure when we will finally begin the IVF x

What's happens after the letter comes? Do we get invited to a group meeting or is it a 1 to 1? I've heard all my blood tests done and wondering what is the tests need to be carried out? Any info will be great. Xxxxxx
