BFN followed by BFP- should I get my hopes up?

Yesterday was our OTD (11dp5d) the first test didn’t work 🙄, then the second test was negative. We were gutted and I spent the whole day in bed crying. Decided to do one more test this morning before stopping the medication and it came back with a faint positive, so I sent my husband to the chemist for a digital test which came back with a pregnant, 1-2wks. I am a mess and don’t want to get my hopes up. Can this really happen?

Positive is a positive! Sometimes just takes a bit longer. My friend got a negative on OTD (10dp) and a positive 3 days later, which was faint. She had a healthy pregnancy xx

Hi naymitch. Yes it can. Perhaps your test date was a little early, even though you were instructed to test on that day. Keeping everything crossed for you that your pregnancy continues as it should. Keep up with any prescribed medication and have a rest when you can. Diane

Some little ones just take a bit longer to get nestled in, any line is a positive. Fingers crossed it gets darker 🤞

Congrats natmitch! Your experience provides me some hope. I did a urine test today morning at 10dp3dt and got a negative and was so terrified. Will be doing my blood test after 2 days, fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
