Hi ladies, so I just had my scan and I my lining isnt thick enough. Dr said there were white areas (not sure what that meant). He said around 5% of people have a failed cycle. I seem to have bad luck I guess. Feeling quite down. He has given me tabs to kick start a period before starting the next cycle. I can't help but feel anxious that my lining will not ever be thick enough. Any positive stories and advice would be appreciated.

Hi Smang thank you for your reply. I have started acupunture and have had 5 sessions. Just dont know what else I can do really.
Have a read on RidleyNl recent post about natural fet. Some other women share their experiences and medication regarding thin lining. I’m certain I saw a post previously as well. I will have a look and see if I can find one xx

Hi there sorry your cycle was cancelled .... I was given Progynova to thicken lining before transfer... this was a standard protocol but i had treatment abroad xx
Hi blondyboo, thank you. I have been taking progynova for the past 10 days so Im not sure what quite happened. I have been on 3 months of down reg so that may have had an impact I dont know. Xx

Mine has pretty much been cancelled too so it seems like there’s a few of the 5% on here if it makes you feel any better 😊I got up to 6.5 then next scan it had gone down to 5 with fluid 🤷♀️

Feeling for you it must be very disappointing try not to lose hope maybe they will tweak things a little and next time will be different wishing you good luck x

I had a cycle cancelled, was given progesterone to induce a bleed then started building my lining bad I got where I needed to be so don't lose hope!! I had regular warm baths, kept my feet warm, walking for circulation, hot water bottles on my tummy and took vitamin e tabs and drank pomegranate juice. Beetroot juice meant to be good too and I haven't tried this yet buy pomegranate & beetroot juice together is meant to be nice! I know how crappy it feels to have transfer cancelled but hang onto the fact that you want everything to be perfect for your beautiful embryos! Chin up, I'm sure you'll get there!xx
Thanks Cinderella. Feeling slightly better today. The support from you guys on here means so much. I am going to get some juice and try little things as you have mentioned. Did they try and get the 3 lines after you had your bleed? Wasnt sure if thats what they still aim to do. Dr said once i bleed they will scan me and then start me back on progynova. Hope you are well xx
They're looking for a decent thickness as well as good quality which is the trilaminar appearance (3 lines). If you have a look on Google images you'll see some pictures of what they're looking for! Glad you're feeling a bit better today!xx
