Hello. My cat just came and sat on my tummy- she never does that! Obviously I think it is a sign 🤣. I am 3dp5dt. Just a quick question on this point. My clinic have said no pets on your lap whilst waiting for OTD. Has anyone else received this advice? I am also a regular yoga do-er and have been told no yoga until OTD. I am really missing it- it would help greatly with this agonising wait.

May be something to do with a slight risk of Toxoplasmosis in cats faeces? Not sure why otherwise - something to do with heat?

Yes I think it is the heat the are warning against but it does seem a bit excessive. X

Yeah I’ve got a cat and they sat on my lap all through the 2ww and also now since being pregnant. The toxoplasmosis thing is incredibly rare and you’d have to literally rub your hand in their faeces to get it and that’s only if your cat is infected, which again is rare. My clinic said yoga and light exercise was fine. I’m a runner but they said no running which I’ve stopped doing. But they encouraged me to do some form of exercise as it’s good to get the heart and blood moving xxx

Thanks Ladypii. It does seem a bit excessive. I’ve just been going out for lots of walks but I need a good stretch. Will perhaps try some light yoga with minimal core work tomorrow. Really huge congrats on the positive. 🥰

I’ve never hear of that advice either and I’ve done 5 transfers! 🤣

I have several cats though and one is a bit like a furry pregnancy test as he turns into a sex pest whenever I pregnant. I can’t sit down for 5 minutes without him trying to hump me! When pregnant with my daughter I actually took him to the Vets as I was convinced his neutering had reversed itself or something he wouldn’t leave me alone - the vet thought it was hilarious 😂
