9dp2dt - symptoms... going mental

I always said if I was ever lucky enough to get into the 2ww that I wouldn’t symptom watch... but how wrong was I. It’s been a tough 9 days but not long to go. However, I’ve been having period like cramps on and off for days now.. is this normal? There’s no sign of blood or spotting... I’ve also had some very strange pains which sometimes take my breath away. My biggest concern are these period pains, I keep thinking AF is coming... has anyone had this and still got a BFP??? Thanks all in advance!

Hey hun. I’m 13dp2dt. I have loads of cramps, feels like AF on its way. OTD tomorrow. I’m pretty convinced mine will be BFN. But I know lots of people have had mild cramps and had BFP. I posted similar early this week. Good luck xx

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!! Really hoping you test positive tomorrow.

I’ve also had lots of cramps, I’m sure AF is going to be here in the next couple of days! Xx

Hi Amy. Some of the pains you are feeling could just be down to your womb settling after being manipulated. Try and keep busy if you can and drink extra water in case your ovaries are still a bit active. Keeping everything crossed that all goes well for you. Diane

I had cramps around day 8 really bad I was convinced I was out but got my bfp almost all symptoms can be a side effect of progesterone so you really can't pay attention to symptoms. Just look after yourself and stay positive x

Hello ladies! Thank you for sharing these stories. I am also in the same boat - 2WW and testing next Wednesday, but have period like symptoms/ cramps too. However, I read that progesterone can also cause similar side effects, so trying not to worry. Want to enjoy this time off too as I’m going back to work in the NHS in mid November, which is quite scary at the moment!! 🙈

Anyway, sending you lots of hugs and baby dust luck too 🤗🤗🤗

I had really bad cramp on day 7 not crippling but weird really intense cramps and spotting, I was convinced it hadn’t worked or I lost the baby but I got my positive so I think cramping can be quite normal
