Oh bless you, there are so many tablets and injections it’s not easy to keep a track of them all... we don’t have a date yet but probably 9th Nov xx

I’m taking 2 pills 2 times a day, so total 8mg. I have had a history of thin lining not pushing more than 6.5mm, but the doc dint increase the dose. He says it’s enough, but wondering if it would make a lot of difference if it had been 2 pills 3 times a day that is 12 mg a day.

Hello,

I have thin lining difficulties and I always start with the patches from day 1 too plus 4 x progynova. Might be worth asking about this.

Good luck x

Does that help you Thicken the lining to what’s needed?

Well it's difficult to say what works!

I've had lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining and the only cycle that I've got over 8 was with pills /patches and a scratch. Lining is a really hard one to know what actually works but this seems to have worked for me xx

Yea it is indeed hard and the docs also have little clue! Thanks for sharing :)

I’m assuming the scratch happens a cycle before or is it in the same cycle? Which day of the cycle do they scratch?

The scratch is done on day 17-24 I think (of the previous cycle). Some people say its really painful but I found it OK. There's not a lot of evidence to support scratches but I'm just trying everything 😂

My clinic usually start me on 8mg (4 tablets per day) plus patches every 48 hours and I often have to step my dose up after around 9 days as my lining gets stuck around 7mm. So yes it should help increase the lining but it doesn't always work for everyone. Have you tried drinking raspberry leaf tea, raspberry leaf tablets and vit E? Sounds ridiculous but it helps my lining to behave and I had my best ever lining after using the tea and tablets together.xx

Yea I’m taking 2 cups of raspberry leaf tea Everyday, and vit e as well. Haven’t seen the effects yet, as I just started it. Will continue it for the next cycle when my transfer is planned (if the lining fights through to 7mm+ 🙏)

Sadly increased dose of Progynova doesn’t work for me. I was just on 10mg for an ERA which is the most I’ve ever been on and my lining was “somewhere between 6-7mm” yesterday. It didn’t really matter this cycle as I wasn’t transferring but I’m desperate to find something that works! X

Yea mine also gets stuck between 6-7mm and nothing in the past has worked. Maybe the ERA itself will help in the next cycle? I heard it helps to thicken the lining considerably. I haven’t tried myself, but heard so.

Do you mean the actual process of the biopsy as in it works a bit like a scratch?? That’s really interesting as I’ve not heard that before. I’m certainly hoping that we get some results that will influence the next transfer that’s for sure. The problem is that everyone is so different so actually an increase in drugs might actually work for you. Keeping everything crossed xx

Yes, worked for me. I had ERA test done in August. I started with 6mg a day and on my first scan my lining was 5.9mm very thin. They expected to be min 7mm. My doctor decided to increase my dose to 8mg a day and on my biopsy day my lining was 8.9mm. On Monday I have my transfer 😬 and my lining last week was 7.5mm with a dose of 8mg. In a week time I am expecting to be in normal range and ready to accept our beautiful embryo.

Good luck and take care ♥️🤗🙂
