Sorry for the delay, but just wanted to let you know that our daughter arrived safely by elective csection on 7th July weighing 9lb.
It took us 3 fresh rounds of icsi and 4 years TTC to get her, but she has made the long journey so worthwhile.
I won't ever forget how I felt during the icsi rounds and will always stick around to support others still going through their journey.
Thank you so much for all the support during my journey. You have helped so much and I am eternally grateful.
Looking back on our journey makes me so emotional. After 2 straight fails with nothing to freeze, I headed into cycle 3 feeling pessimistic. It turns out that cycle 3 was the lucky one for us. Even after I took the test, I didn't want to turn it over and face a 3rd straight fail.
Please don't ever give up on your dreams. However you get there, I know that you will all be an amazing mummy one day to some very lucky children.
Love to you all xx

Thank you Kat. I saved all the injections hoping we'd one day get to use them for one of those photos. Sending you all our best wishes for your 3rd cycle. All fingers and toes crossed for 3rd time lucky too! Stay strong. You've got this! πͺ xx
Absolutely love your photo! I've seen a trend like this on IVF insta pages & think it's so incredibly real & moving π₯° congratulations on your wee girl xx
Thank you. We've got it on the wall of our lounge now. I love looking at it along with the picture of her as a blastocyst. Can't wait to share the journey with her when she's older. xx
Oh β€οΈIβm literally in tears after reading such an amazing announcement. Thank you for sharing, I really needed this today β€οΈIβm about to embark on my 4th cycle, the 1st with donor egg after 3 failed cycles with my eggs and one horrible missed miscarriage π
But Iβm not giving up β€οΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈI will also make our dream come true, one day!
Aww thank you! Wishing you all the luck in the world for your 4th cycle. Keep believing and it will happen. So sorry to hear about your failed cycles and missed miscarriage. The tough journey makes you appreciate them all the more when they finally arrive.
Stay strong and keep fighting for that dream. One day, this will be you making your announcement. You've totally got this! πͺ xx
Wow many congratulations. This post has made me so emotional. I have been TTC for 2 years. I am 28 and completed my first ICSI cycle, i had a fresh 5DT and it ended in a BFN last week.
I have 4 frosties and been so down will this ever happen for me. Petrified if Iβm honest but seeing your post really makes me believe it will be ok i just got to have hope. Your daughter is perfect i wish you all well xxxx
Sorry to hear about your BFN. I was so scared of us having a third straight fail. Even before we took the test, I didn't want to look at it through fear of seeing just one line again.
Look at the positives. You've got 4 frosties there waiting for you. That's amazing! You could have your longed for baby and siblings in that bunch.π€
Keep going! It's a rollercoaster, but just keep that end goal in sight. One day, you'll look back on your journey and know that it was 100% worthwhile. xx
Thank you. The photo takes pride of place in our lounge. Makes everyone emotional when they see it. When she's older, we'll explain to her why that photo is so special to us. xx
I'm welling up reading and seeing this. So so happy for you. Thank you for your words of encouragement and hope. She is absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure well worth the wait. Soak her up. β€οΈ
