Thoughts please

Hi ladies, thoughts please... I had egg collection Monday and I’m going in today for the transfer. I’m still slightly bloated and slightly in pain.. will they be ok to do the embryo transfer?

Morning Amy, I wasn’t in pain but i was EXTREMELY BLOATED before my embryo transfer, i also hadnt opened by bowels for a week which didnt help. We went ahead with transfer and I am now 36 weeks pregnant. I just rested loads and loads, drank plenty, avoided foods / drinks that might bloat me even more. I signed myself off work for 2 weeks so it was possible for me to completely rest and allow my body to recover.

Hi Amy. Hopefully all goes well with the transfer. Perhaps it has already been done, so rest when you can, drink plenty of water, and keep up with any prescribed medication. If you remain in pain you should be OK to take some paracetamol. Hope all ends well and you soon feel better. Diane
