I bought one pineapple which I cut into 5 slices & had over 5 days, starting the day after transfer. I also drunk pom juice & ate Brazil nuts. Good luck hun! Xx
Hi Sarah hope you are doing great in your 2 ww and I think it’s better just to eat healthy and don’t worry much as in my two ww I havnt eaten pine apple or anything and actually I read that pine apple is not good😄, I googled too as we all do . But then later 16th week I felt huge craving for pine apple and I did eat the whole pine apple in a day and then again read and it was not good as it said it might cause misscarriage or give harm and I did called my midwife and she laughed and said these all are myths and eat everything 😄 but that was only pineapple I eaten in months and I feel like to eat today after reading you guys posts about it. I spend 2ww just in normal as havnt thought much about that as it get v stressful otherwise,May God help us all and make it easier to meet our little joys 😇 Ameen
Thank you! I read it helps implantation but to stop eating it after the first few day’s of transfer and not good fir pregnancy. It’s all so confusing isn’t it! Things we do in hope it gets us our end goal! 🧡
I also drank (and continue drinking) watermelon, ginger and beetroot juice, starting day of transfer. There was a study done showing that it was great for implantation, google it. I put a few slices of watermelon, chopped ginger and a teaspoon of beetroot powder with some warm water into Nutribullet.
I also didn’t eat any cold foods, had beef bone broth three days in a row (that’s what my acupuncture therapist advised). Basically, warm foods are good for this stage of the journey. Good luck!!
I read about pineapple core too so I had a whole pineapple over the space of about 4 days! I also read that salt is good right after transfer so got a large portion of McDonald’s chips on the way home from the clinic 😂 and wore fluffy socks as I read keeping your feet warm helps...worked for me ! Good luck xxx
I am allergic to pineapple, it makes my mouth all fuzzy and I don't really like nuts so didn't do either of thosr. I had Macdonald's chips on the way home from clinic and during my treatment, my tww and early pregnancy drank quite a few of the 'revitalise' juice from marks and spencer (3/4 a week) it's a small shot of smoothie that has things like beetroot in it and added folic acid think it's all just in your head but it worked for me! 😄
Oh lovely, best of luck with your 2ww, it such a stressful time. Please don’t get too hung up on these tales, eat a balanced diet, of protein, dairy, fruit & vegetables. I found meditation useful, check out Zita West’s meditations, you can download them from iTunes. Best of luck Xx
Hi, wishing you lots of luck with your transfer. Please don’t worry about these things - I understand it helps to feel you’re doing something but if you miss a day or don’t do it “exactly right” it won’t impact things. I’ve never done any of these things post transfer and have had 2 BFPs. My Consultant told me that after transfer it’s mostly down to Mother Nature so try and rest when you can and listen to your body xx
I’m close to my FET but I agree with others saying eat a healthy balanced diet and don’t stress over what to eat to improve chances as if anything,,,, worrying about what to eat increases stress therefore could potentially decrease your chances of success,,,,,, Wishing you the best of luck for your transfer lovely and enjoy the excitement of it all 🤗Xxxx
I ate pineapple cores before and after my first two transfers. And both failed. I did nothing extra for this transfer, and got a bfp. So I really think it’s the luck of the draw. I just drank plenty of water for this cycle and walked more.
All the above advice is great and i did most of it before my BFP a week or so ago. I ate the brazil nuts, McDonald’s fries, and pineapple juice. I also did accupuncture. Im not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I was also advised to keep my feet warm (slippers / socks all the time) and not have too cold foods, which is an easy one to do now we move into autumn. I also did the Zita west post transfer meditations and found they really helped me to chill out when I needed it. Good luck!! Xx
I don't know whether these old wives tales actually work. But, I had successful IVF first time. I did eat 2 pineapple cores one following transfer and then the other one the following day. I did stop because I found it was probably just me but upset my stomach a bit. During the 2ww I ate Brazil nuts occasionally. I also drank coconut water but didn't bothered after the 2ww. I don't like the taste that much. I also wore really thick socks and made sure that my feet were never cold.

I tried to avoid stress during the 2ww, I think it helped abit though. But, IVF success is just down to luck and also good quality sperm
