As the question says really. I’m trying to understand why my healthy uterus, good steadily rising HCG levels and good overall health still couldn’t hold on to this PGS tested donor egg embryo. Has this happened to anyone else? Did you find out why? This was my first ever transfer and pregnancy after a series of bad luck with own egg IVF and donors who’s eggs failed at fertilisation.

Has anyone had donor egg PGS embryos result in missed miscarriage after yolk and fetal pole had been seen?

Hey I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been doing DE transfers for sometime. The only think that I can think of was your progesterone. How much were you on?xx
I was taking Crinone 8% gel twice a day. I even asked the clinic if I should increase it but they said it was enough. This is a helpful point for me to raise with them, so thank you! I have one embryo left.
We didnt do PGS testing but discovered that taking cyclogest 400mg twice a day wasnt enough for me. It would be worth checking your levels the day before transfer or on the day of transfer. It may not be the answer. Some of us just dont absorb the "normal" meds properly. Hugs.xx
Thank you so much, I’ll make sure that happens. My uterine lining has always been excellent and progesterone blood tests have always come back as good, but then I’ve never been pregnant before so maybe it changed.
Congratulations on your pregnancy by the way! Think I wished you before but would have got lost amongst the hundreds of other well wishers. You truly truly deserve it after your journey. We ALL deserve it but it does make me happy to see you got there xxx
Are you using progynova etc to increase your lining? If so then this takes your natural cycle away and you dont ovulate so you dont produce progesterone naturally...so if your levels are ok in your own cycle it doesnt mean they will be ok in a medicated cycle I'd that makes sense?!
Thank you, the support I've had is immense but you are right we deserve success....nobody should have to fight so hard to have a baby!😕 All the best going forward once you've had time to heal.xx
