Hi

I'm so sorry to read that your cycle has failed. It really is heartbreaking. I think some women have difficulties absorbing progesterone- myself included. An intramuscular injection may work much better for you. Did they check your progesterone levels on the day of transfer? Take care of yourself- it really is so difficult to deal with a BNF ♥️
I wasn’t tested before transfer. This is the first time after 4 transfers (test on alongside Beta On the official test date that progesterone is a problem) makes me so mad because I plan to move to donor eggs and this is a whole new problem. I had been on progesterone shots for the 14days and never missed a day 😩
I completely understand what you mean. I have been asking my clinic to test me after the first transfer when I had early bleeding. Now 4 transfers later I got a home test and found that on the day of transfer my progesterone is low as well. So I possibly wasted 4 precious embryos just because they didn't want to recognise there was a problem. Were the shots Lubion or something like Prontogest? My clinic thinks Lubion is great but I really have my doubts- I don't think it's better than the pessaries. Xxx
Prontogest 3ml shots. Am also feeling the cycle was such a waste if transfer was done with low levels of progesterone and feel worse as it was my last cycle with OE. What’s your next plan?
I can only imagine how frustrated and upset you feel. I've not heard of Prontogest being so ineffective. Has your consultant have any idea what might have happened? I really hope you get some answers. I don't know what I'll do next. We are lucky that we still have some embryos in the freezer. Sending hugs xxx
Hi, so sorry to hear your cycle didn't work out! 3ml of PIO plus pessaries is a lot, that's very strange. Is it dosed at 100mg/ml? Does the doctor have any ideas? Are they the original bottles of PIO? Might be a good idea to check everything over to find the cause. Hopefully you find a solution xx
