Viability scan tomorrow with a bad feeling.

Ever had a gut feeling about something? I’ve had such a problem with my HCG not doubling.

5-40 (48 hours) 40-67 (48 hours) 67-430 (72 hours) 430-1203 (48 hours) 1203-2609 (48 hours) 2609-3315 (4 days)

I went to the ER last week because of brown spotting and they did a scan. He said he “might” see a small sac measuring 4mm. He said he should have been able to see more with my HCG being at 2609 at the time. The ER doctor even mentioned the possibility that it may be ectopic. I’m so scared to miscarry again.

My doctor thinks it may be still early since I don’t know how far along I am. I missed my period completely in August and got a positive blood test Sept 3. I have my viability ultrasound in the morning. What do you think?

Good luck for your scan today. My clinic doesn't even check HCG numbers or do a blood test for confirmation, so I will be going in to my scan "blind", but there's always hope and being pregnant isn't an exact science (could be if they researched it more!) so I would say keep your hope up and wishing you a positive scan today. xxx
