Hi everyone,
Hope this post doesn’t upset anyone and hoping someone might have some experience to share with me:
I went for my viability scan today at 6+5 and to my surprise my single embryo transferred has split! So two in there now- both with heartbeats but one measuring right on track at 7.9mm and the other much smaller at 3.9mm. The doctor said either it would catch up or won’t so we are having a repeat in 2 weeks.
Anyone have any experience of something like this and the smaller one catching up?
Obviously I would be thrilled if they both make it although with my history of PCOS and recurrent miscarriage also anxious about the higher risk. The next two weeks are going to be a tough wait! If they do make it my consultant said they will be monochorionic diamniotic so one placenta and two amniotic sacs. Anyone with any experience of this too?
Thanks in advance for any advice, I find this a really supportive and helpful community even though I don’t post much!
Thank you xx
