14 weeks pregnant and had a positive dating scan last week, but I've had period like cramps since yesterday. Like sit down cramps.
I don't want to be one of those people that gets everything checked out, so wanted to get advice on here first. I know pains are normal as everything is growing, but when is it not normal? It doesn't feel like stretching it feels like my period. I do have some stretching feeling really down below (sorry TMI) and thankfully haven't had any bleeding. But the stomach cramps are quite strong.
Do I try to ignore it for a few more days or should I get checked out?
Thank you xx

Would recommend calling your local EPU if there is one. I did have cramps for the first 16 weeks with my IVF pregnancy (which were due to my severe endometriosis and adenomyosis) but mine were fairly constant throughout. It may be that the uterus is moving forward in the pelvis so I expect all will be fine but rest up as much as you can and make the call if you are a bit worried. Let us know how you get on and wishing you well xx
So comforting to know its normal for other people too. I called the midwife. They are so good. Talked me through everything and said not to worry about it. It sounds totally normal to her. So keeping calm and carrying on.
We've booked a private gender scan in 2 weeks so will get to check up on the little one then. So much waiting!!!
