Has anyone had a live birth from frozen eggs?

Just finished my first round of egg freezing (I’m 22, infertile, AMH 6).

Has anyone had a live birth from frozen eggs not embryos?

If so, how old were you when you froze your eggs? How many eggs did you freeze? How many attempts before you got your baby?

Thank you

Hi BarneyandPatsy. So sorry to hear of your low AMH level, but pleased to hear that you are managing to get some eggs frozen for the future. Freezing eggs is much better than it used to be, as they now use a process called vitrification. You will lose some of your stored eggs on defrosting, as they will be fragile. However, I do hear of successes, so I really hope you can be added to that list. Diane

Lots of women have live births from frozen eggs. Most donor eggs are frozen in this matter. Just make sure you freeze enough eggs if you can. You're young and your eggs should be great quality. You didn't say what your infertility diagnosis is but if it hasn't compromised your ovaries, you should be able to collect really quality eggs. If you can get 30-40 eggs that would be amazing.
