2nd failed FET .... feeling lost and not sure what to do ...

We had a FET July and got to 10dp5dt ... day before my test and I had a massive bleed and loss.

Waiting time now another round is 3-6 months - and another ££££ .. we don’t get any to freeze so it’s always a fresh round.

I’m taking all the right vitamins, been testing my LH and doing all we can that a natural miracle might happen.

Another 2 friends are pregnant - which is such amazing news - it just sends me back and I feel so lost again.

Sorry your 2nd FET failed. It’s really hard. Did they make any changes this time or were you in same meds etc as first FET?

It was a different protocol ... increase in meds

And for longer. Got 6 eggs, 5 Mature, 3 fertilised

And only 1 5 day.

Just not sure if we should try again .. my heads

Hang in there Jozie, i perfectly understand. I have had already 4 rounds and none left to freeze each time.. Is heartbreaking not to mention the cost, but have faith, we soon gonna make it :).

Hi Josie, Sorry this time wasn't lucky for you. 3-6 months seems like a long wait though!? Is it a NHS clinic, and have you considered moving to a different clinic?

It’s a private clinic - but with Covid they are still working through apps. We had our round cancelled in March and then were able to go ahead June/July.

I’m just feeling so down and not sure what to do. The contact battle of my head can be hard xx

Oh no! This must be so frustrating for you. I've been waiting ages too (finally had a first failed fresh in July), but with NHS at moment. Thought that once you were in, it would be possible for each cycle to roll on, especially if going private - clearly not! You are not alone in feeling powerless and constantly thinking about this. It's the uncertainty and unknowns which are really difficult. I'm thinking of moving clinic or going abroad, but don't really know if waits would be longer and being back to square one. Hang in there, and let's hope things can turnaround soon! Xx

So did I! She did say normally it would be straight away; But after my review in August the consultant said it would be end of sept to get date for consent app. Think they have so many people waiting after Covid hit!

I’m so sorry your first one failed; it’s just so hard and doesn’t get any easier at all.

I have been with a private clinic and it was def a better cycle for me. I think I was def more positive and because we got further I had my hopes up.

If you can speak to the clinic they will tell you; I’d have gone abroad too but with work I am stuck to dates 🙈

You hang in there too ... we just have to try and stay strong somehow! I’m just so scared we will have to stop x
