You can. My doc said ok to alcohol after 24hrs of retrieval.

Thanks. I called my clinic and the answering service lady said she asked a nurse and she said no. I was confused so wanted some personal opinions. I was pissed she didnt transfer me to a nurse. Maybe that’s the problem of doing ivf in Ukraine – it takes a lot of efforts to get the answer you need for today’s night!

Oh! Then no no!

May be that would be the reason they would have said No.

My doctor told me i could before as long as not the day or two before. I had a glass. Nothing major. What would be the difference with fresh or frozen?

Fresh means you will do the transfer like after 3 or 5 days after the ER. Frozen means you will have at least a month for the transfer!!

A glass of wine is fine! Think of the millions of babies conceived under heavy influence of alcohol. As long as you’re not pissed and you keep hydrated have a glass and relax xx

When I had one of my NHS cycles I had a wedding a few days later and the nurse told me to go and enjoy a glass or two of wine it might be my last. I think so long as you arent going all out then it should be ok.xx

One or two glasses is not going to make a difference so go and enjoy yourself and have your last drink hopefully for a while!! God knows how many people get pregnant after a drunken romp so clearly is doesn’t affect implantation that much 😂

My consultant said to enjoy a glass of wine or 2 the day after the retrieval xx

Hi Mickey I never drink alcohol 🍺 so not much help but one thing is sure that during my ivf the doctor and nurses told to avoid alcohol and caffeine 😊

My nurse always says a few glasses doesn’t hurt if it relaxes you, i would say you have earned them! Enjoy x
