Day 3 update call - so far, so good 🤞

Hi lovely people

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the messages of support last night, it really helped. 😘💛

We got our day 3 call this morning and it was good news. Both are still developing, one is 12 cells and the other is 4 cells.

We decided to go for a day 5 transfer as the embryologist said she would recommend this. Feel nervous as only one of our embies got to a morula stage last time which is the one we transferred back and this cycle was a BFN.

A nervous two day wait now but keeping my toes and fingers crossed at least one of them makes it. Can a slower developing embie still become a blastocyst?

Hi Kat, sorry not to have read and replied earlier we have been away on hols. Oh I am so very sorry to hear that Kat, how are you doing ? 😘 Hoping you are being looked after and taken care of. I wonder if you do another round whether they may recommend a day 3 transfer as I understand many people have had a day 3 and been successful but just make sure you take time out for yourself and time to get yourself in a good place to consider your next steps. I’m doing okay, thank you. Ups and downs but mostly doing good. Just about to start our next round as decided to get cracking before things get worse with bloody Covid!

Going for a short but lower dose stims to try and get quality over quantity so not sure it will work but decided we would give it a try. 🤞

Yes I think we would go for a day three transfer this time to try it.

Hey Kat, sorry for delay didn’t come up saying u had replied for some reason yes don’t blame you for cracking on u just don’t know if we may go into another lockdown at any point. Lower and shorter cycle sounds a really good idea, they always say quality over quantity & not to focus on numbers, I have everything crossed for u. Day 3 transfer sounds good but with your changes to cycle u could get to day 5 which would be great. Wishing you all the luck in the world take care xx 😘
