Day 3 update post EC

So just got the call from clinic to say that out of our 7 fertilised 6 are doing really well 8 cells or more, but one only has 7 so they don't think that will make it. I am so relived, I didn't realise how nervous I was until she told me and I burst in to tears xx

I thought 7-cell embryo is not that bad result on day 3...so are they going to be transferred on day 5 or? it's an ivf or surrogacy, your eggs or donor?

They said there was some small fragmention and compared to the others they don't expect it to go on to day 5.

They are going for a day 5 transfer they are my eggs.

This is our first round of ivf following a 4.5 year struggle and miscarriage. This is all very new to us so apologies if I have used the wrong language. Xx

I no I was up very early as couldn't sleep. I think we are the only ones in our clinic at the moment as we were the last one for EC before Christmas. Which I why they rang early.

Thank you, I didnt sleep very well either and was having crazy dreams when I did! Our clinic is very busy this week as all the last egg collections are happening so will have to be patient!xx
