Hello community,
So yesterday (2nd September), I received the follow up letter from our consultant following our consultation, the letter is dated the 4th of July.
I’m due to test on Sunday, but the letter contains some pretty important about blood thinners which surprised me as it didn’t seem to reflect the convo we had with him. We asked about taking Clexane and mini-aspirin and I’m pretty sure he said there was no need in my case (I had a thrombotic risk profile done about 2 years ago & things were pretty normal), so I put it out of my head.
However the letter mentions taking Clexane or equivalent from the day of transfer and mini-aspirin if positive pregnancy occurs. Since the consultation, there has been zero mention about these by anyone from the clinic. Obviously saw him 2 Wednesday’s ago for the transfer, but he never mentioned a thing. He only mentioned about my Lubion fridge scenario and agreed with the supplier that it would be ok to continue with (see my previous post), but that was it.
I was getting a bit wound up yesterday about it, but obviously trying to keep my emotions in check during this really critical time and hope for the best for Sunday.
My husband rang yesterday and left a voicemail with the clinic, so we’re awaiting a call back.
Question is, should I start tasking this stuff now or is it too late? Do I need a prescription or is it over the counter? Any experience or similar scenarios would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks a mill xx
