Post Prostap Bleed 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all! Just after some reassurance or words of advise as the nurse helpline at my fertility clinic is closed...

I had a bleed after taking 5 days of Norethisterone, then as advised administered my Prostap injection on the second day.

That was 11 days ago, and today from out of nowhere I’ve had a bleed. Just wondered if anyone else has had the same experience, is it anything to worry about? I had a really quick look at the side effects of Prostap and it did say to ‘speak to your doctor’ if you have a bleed... so I’m a little concerned. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Prostap does induce a bleed so dont worry. It puts your body into the fake menopause and thins your lining down. All completely normal!xx

Hey 👋🏼 in terms of my cycles so far this is exactly what the prostrap is meant to do. Bleed should happen around 7-10 days after the injection and the clinic will want to see that your lining is thin enough for them to start constructing your cycle. You would think they would have told you this and the next steps tho! Sometimes I think they think we are mind readers on this journey 😂🙈 good luck xx
