I did a test in the middle of the night because I was uncomfortable with my bladder being so full and couldn't sleep.
Instantly looked negative but this morning there looks like a cross. Thinking its probably evaporation lines but equally I didn't wait the full time so could be genuine. Anyway will test tomorrow again.
Just wanted to ask, I've had 3 top grade embryos transferred - no positives. I've had the era/Emma/Alice test. Everything appears to be testing fine. My husband has his dna tested for abnormalities before we had egg collection even. It seems to be so frustrating - has anyone else been in this situation and can you do pga testing on frozen embryos?

Hey! First of all. A line sounds exciting. But are you testing on clearblue? Time to get a FRER for sure.
Then, I have definitely been in your situation. I had three top grade embryos transferred. All bfn. I was 29, my hubs 30. We thought for sure it would work in 3. Then I had another fresh cycle at a different clinic, switched up my protocol went full medicated after being at a ‘mild’ ivf clinic. The first fresh transfer was a chemical. Then my last transfer and my first double, first medicated frozen was a bfp. I am 5 +6 today. I didn’t do any of the tests. Didn’t add in steroids. Did add in blood thinners and injectable progesterone even though my levels had always been fine. Honestly, who knows why it worked! I just kept going and switched things up, but I think the dice just landed right. Still a million miles to go till I can breathe, but at least something finally worked.
Anyway, we hope this cycle right now works out for you. Do some better tests and keep me updated xxxx
Hey, that sounds promising Montgomery. Definitely worth retesting to double check. Can you stick a pic up? You can do testing but they would have to thaw your embryos then take the biopsy then refreeze so I'm not sure if that would do more harm than good. I'm sure your clinic will keep you right on that. Good luck.xx
I remember myself waking up during the night with cramps and testing 🤣 mine came back positive very shortly but unfortunately ended up in a biochemical pregnancy 🥺 I am also doing PGS testing, waiting for my results 😬 but our embryos been biopsied from fresh.
I agree with Cinderella5 it is a very invasive procedure so your embryos may not survive (also depends how many you have frozen) but you can do embryo banking to make sure that you will have something to transfer. ❤️🤗
Yes you can PGS frozen embryos but there is a risk due to the freeze - thaw - freeze and then thaw again that you might lose some. Also If they all come back as abnormal legally clinics only the U.K. aren’t allowed to transfer them so you could end destroying them all.
I PGS tested my second cycle and didn’t get any normals. Decided not to test again and the next cycle got 2 blastocysts which were frozen and then transferred after lockdown and am now 13 weeks with twins - so what I’m saying is PGS isn’t 100% accurate x
I think a First response will defo help you know with a little more certainty I’ve never had a negative test have such a clear Evap line though So I have my fingers crossed For you 🤞🏽😊 xx
