Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone with similar experience? I’m 42...getting ready for ivf, but every time on 2nd day of period, I have ovarian cystis...(at first - on the left in May, than on the right-June, again on the left - July and now on the right😕) I even got Ovitrelle inj.but cystis developd again. My gin.told me that I should take anti baby pills fron 3rd day of my period, in order to prevent cystis and prepare for the stimulation and ivf...is this usual as an approach Have anyone had similar experience? Thank you

When j had my 1st round of ivf I had a cyst on one side. They put me on the pill and rescanned me the next month and it had disappeared . they spoke about maybe needing to remove it if the pill didn't work but obviously it did. I think they are fairly common. When you say anti baby pill do you mean the pill? Z

Thanks so much...anti baby pills meaning - contraception pills (“Logest”). Dr told me to take those for several weeks...and than in next cycle to start stimulation for ivf...sorry for my English...I live in Serbia that’s why I’m not clear😊...

No problem. Best of luck. Thar must be what they do to help reduce/get rid of the cysts. X

I dont know, but i had one cyst delaying my cycles on and on. I used castor oil packs on the advice of a herbalist and it was brilliant. The cyst cleared up right away. Doctors dismiss it as an old folk remedy but dont mind you trying it. Its very relaxing and harmless. Look it up, you can get all the stuff online. Good luck x

The pill is called Norethisterone, it doesnt stop you from conceiving it just stops your period. I took it for 14 days then bled afterwards. This pill stops cysts from forming. Hope this helps.
