Ivf with ovarian cysts? Help 😩

Hi Ladies,

Just after some help if anyone has experience of this? Long story!

Started down reg but at the first scan i had a 2 cm cyst on my left ovary and a couple of smaller ones on the right. My doc decided the best thing to do was aspirate them and then give me provera to bring on a period. As the down reg didnt work for the 2nd time, he also decided to switch me to a short protocol.

Went for my baseline scan yesterday and the cysts had filled back up within a week. My doc has said that they are not functional cysts as they were drained and have only filled back up with fluid, he has said to start stims and they will drain them again at egg collection.

Ive never had this happen before and really worried that its going to affect our cycle. Ive had 2 shots of bemfola so far and already im getting pain in my left side.

Had anyone else experienced this? The clinic have said all should be ok but still panicking a bit

Hi Mrsti just finished my 3rd fresh cycle few weeks ago.

My last two I was on the same meds. Gonal f and synarel spray but this time they only increase the dosage to 375iu.

Went for first scan and they told me that my lining is bit to thick to start injections so they want me to carry on with spray and come back in 5 days for another scan.

Went back and they find cyst on my left ovary 22mm. They took blood test too.

I had a call from a doctor saying that my oestrogen level is over 300 because of that cyst so next thing I went to the clinic to drain that...

Had scan again few days after all nice and clear so I was good to start injections.

First scan on injections they sow really nice respond saying they see nice numbers of follicles....but look like that cyst in refill again 20mm.

So went again for scan ...again nice numbers of follicles and nice sizes ...cyst was looking like is going down sized...so they say they will drain with EC.

14 eggs collected 10 was mature and 6 fertilise.

ET day 5 grade A+ was transferred and another 3 grade A to freeze.

Well didn’t work this time ....but my first

Two cycles I didn’t have anything like that ...this one was much longer and much harder to go through. Xx

It’s ok hun .

We got appointment with clinic booked for 13 may to discuss the last cycle but for now I had all tests repeat 2day in GP to make sure is clear from my side and see what they say so we can decide what next step.

And for u, its a bloody long and hard journey for us all. This is the last time for us and defo at peace with that x

That was my last 3rd fresh cycle...I cannot go through that again.

I have my 23 month old baby girl from my second cycle...im 39 this year and 4 frostie .

I need my body to recover first ...wait for test results and see what they say in clinic.

For now I’m this min I’m not ready yet to go through FET ...xx
