Hi! I had my egg retrieval over two weeks ago and for the past week or so I have been feeling ill. I have been having hot flashes, sweating, no fever, headaches, nausea and fatigue. I am on day three of my period. Has anyone else experienced this kind of illness after stim meds and egg retrieval?

Hi Ljscott5, I’ve got my first egg collection on Saturday so can’t offer any advice but wanted to wish you well. 🧡
I was feeling rough during stims, but fortunately I avoided OHSS afterwards. Is it possible you are still recovering from mild OHSS? Stay in touch with your clinic, they have a duty of care to you. Otherwise, it might just be you "withdrawing" from all the hormones. Estrogen fluctuations really make me feel terrible too, but I don't think it lasted that long. Hope you feel better soon xx
