Hcg blood results....

Hey guys,

Finally got my HCG results from the doc and they look positive - she said they were really high day 33 - 15,980 whatever that means!

Still very cautious and waiting for the 7 week scan this week...

She said they will give me special care even though it is a natural pregnancy she understands we just had a failed IVF.

I am so happy they are being so understanding as felt a bit abandoned after being discharged from fertility clinic.

Please keep fingers crossed for me.

I managed to get weekly scans from 6-12 weeks & then every 2x weeks. It really helped my anxiety. So if you can do!! Xx

Yes I think so - we are going to be away with my parents for week 12, so was hoping that I could get one done before then to be able to share the news....

I see your having twins!!! And you have been through a hell of a lot so far. Hope the rest goes smoother for you.

Congratulations!! If you’re going away week 12- you could get a private Harmony Test from week 10 onwards. It’s a blood test and scan to check for Down syndrome and some other chromosome abnormalities- it depends if that’s something you want to do and if you can afford it. Costs about £400-500 in London. Helps bridge the gap between the week 7 and week 12 scan (which sometimes ending up being later on the NHS!) Good luck! Xx

Woo hoo! I don't know a lot about the blood tests, but what I do know is that it is an amazing number!! I'm so chuffed for you hun, really makes me smile. Glad to hear that they're going to keep an extra eye on you, must be reassuring xxx
