So sorry, I feel your pain. Like you am fortunate to have my one miracle. For 3 long years I have been trying & trying for my second with no luck at all. My first miracle was our very first NHS go. I find it hard to accept I keep failing since it’s so so hard. Just in middle of final cycle with my own eggs x

I always feel bad thinking just count myself lucky I have my daughter but I want her to have a sibling too. I think we might try another round & see how it goes. My nhs failed but 1st private round worked and now 2nd round failed. It’s like a lottery xx

Laura you are so right it’s Defo a lottery. This is our 6th attempt now for a sibling. We know financially & emotionally this will be the last. Am 44 now and obvs quality is an issue. I wish at 40 my DR had said look your chances with DE be much more.... They were very hopeful as It happened before. So if I want to go down the DE route after this then I need to change clinics as my clinic have a cut off age of 42 for DE’s due to lack of donors. I want to have a good feeling about this time but after so many disappointments well you are scared to get hopes up x

Yeah you would rather they were straight talking. It’s like they said we had a great chance this time as the frozen embryo was same batch as fresh that took so I think they made it sound like it would more likely work than not x
