Cancelled due to bad respond lead to delay period?

Hi ladies,

My treatment was cancelled after 4 days stimulate with Bemfola due to bad respond. I been asked to start again on next cycle. I always have regular cycles every month but now I'm 5 days delay. I tested on day 3 after due period(suppose) but bfn.

Does anyone come across having late cycle due to medication?

Hi Goyjung,

Sorry to hear you had a bad response to bemfola. I also had a cycle cancelled due to lack of response to stims although I had 8 days of injections, and my period was also late (although only by couple of days)

Thanks for your comment can I ask have you re start your cycle yet. If so how did your response?

I am currently in my 2nd cycle. I had a slight change of meds (last time bemfola alone, this time bemfola with menopur) and have currently 3 larger and 2 smaller follicles growing. Hoping for egg collection this week! Not a huge number but I'm 41 and have low Amh and had not responded last time, so am quite happy I'm a step further this time! Fingers crossed 🤞 x

Good to know you responses better this time. I had 11 eggs with free NHS funded using menopur. So wonder if there is anything to do with medication. By the way wish you all the best with egg collection xx

Yes, my cycle was cancelled due to COVID and my period was late by at least 10 days.
