Yesterday I had my ultrasound 3 follicles 15 and 17 mm and 1 small one also my Estradiol E2 was 645.47 I am worried about the sizes since this is on day 12

Hi Layla,

They are at least growing equally, that hopefully means the eggs mature equally too! I'm on day 10 and have 3 follicles sizes of 14, 14 nd 13mm, I guess similar to you really.

Keep positive!!! Have they said anything about date for egg collection yet?

I will find out today after my ultrasound when or if I need to re order my Med I am running very low and not looking forward to reordering them. Thank you for the positive response 🙏💕xxx

I know the feeling about ordering more meds. I'll probably end up being on stims for a total of about 14days before they'll proceed to egg collection, but hoping it'll be worth it!!

I agree with User20, it’s good that you have growth and they are similar sizes, hopefully a sign of mature eggs.

Keep positive, drink plenty of water, lots of protein and keep the blood flowing by keep moving.

I’ve just had my first scan, I’ve had 6 days of 💉 up to last night.

I’ve got 3 follicles, lining is 7.2, I have another scan in a couple of days. Like you I’m also worried but you have to keep with the positives xx🥰

Hi lovely, try not to worry, I finished my stims last week. I was on short protocol but They kept extending the days as mine were slow growing. Was on stims 14 days in the end. I had 5 follicles a few days before egg collection but they ended up collecting 7 eggs. 6 were mature. I think the longer you can grow them the better as gives the eggs extra time to mature. Hi Kath, can I ask - when do you know if the eggs are mature? Would they tell you on the day of collection or can they only retrieve them if they are mature? Xx

Hi lovely, they phone you the day after egg collection to advise how many of the eggs collected were mature and how many fertilised. Xx

Thank you. I just had 6 retrieved and am so worried they won’t fertilise or make it to embryo stage. 😫 last time I had 17 😖 xx

The waiting is awful isn't it! I'm on day two ( had egg collection monday) had call yesterday to say 6 of my 7 were mature and 4 fertilised but obviously they can't guarantee that the 4 will make it to day 5. I'm in bits with over thinking.. I panic everytime my phone rings incase its them with bad news xx

I feel I'm in a similar situation like you were, so am pleased to hear they got a good number of eggs on your collection. Gives me hope. Hoping slow growing follicles means good and mature eggs 😊🤞

Thanks lovely , yes I think being extended a few days definitely helped. I have low AMH for my age and on the older side(37) so I wasnt expecting loads anyway...just hope some of my 4 make it!. Wishing you all the luck too! Xx

Hi Layla, I feel like I’m in a similar situation to you. I am worried I won’t Have any decent size follicles to collect. Today is day 7/8 stims for me they said they could see 5. But they were very tiny so I don’t know what that means really.

I'm in my 2 week wait after my first cycle. I had 5 follicles (2 of them only turned up on my last scan before egg collection). We ended up with 4 mature eggs. All 4 fertilised and then 3 survived to grade A and B Blastocysts. So it can and will happen! I came out of egg collection crying that there were any eggs as my reserve and AMH are so low I was worried they wouldn't find any.

Stay positive and keep rubbing your belly telling those follicles to grow!

That's amazing! Well done you! I also have very low amh so was just happy my body responded and I got some eggs! I got 7 , 6 mature and 4 fertilised. Find out sat ( day 5) how they got on. All this waiting is torture! Amazing all of your 4 fertilsed..you made some great eggs there! Wishing you all the good luck in your 2ww xx
