Hi ladies, on Friday at 8dp5dt I got a strong positive on a first response. It faded slightly over the next few days and today is OTD and my test from the clinic is negative, although with a slight squint in certain lights.
Thereās no point pursuing this now is there? If itās faded from strong itās a chemical?
Iāve been awake all night crying and all symptoms have pretty much gone.
Iāve emailed clinic to let them know.

Iām so sorry. Having a chemical pregnancy is so cruel seeing that dream being ripped away is heartbreaking. We conceived our daughter just over a year after our chemical pregnancy so to say just because this pregnancy hasnāt worked out doesnāt mean another pregnancy wouldnāt- most women that miscarry will go into have a successful pregnancy. Right now it feels as though your world has fallen apart but in time this will get easier ( you never forget I know I havenāt forgotten the one I lost 3 years ago but you just learn to live with it) Take as much time as you need to grieve. I hope you have plenty of support xxx
Thanks for all the kind words. Iām waiting for the clinic to call me back, I think because of the slight line theyāll want me to take the drugs for two more days and retest to confirm negative as Iām sure something was said about that during a previous conversation
It seems hard to string it out though, Iāve been crying for a while and I want to say goodbye and focus on the next one. X
Its is hard but continue on, its even worse if you have regrets of not continung the meds and wondering "what if". Sending hugs, its awful....Ive been there too.xx
Im so sorry Mary. Its so cruel to see that line and it to be taken from you. Its just isnt fair. I hope all this heartache one day will be in the fast as you hold your baby. Sending love xx
Hi Mary, so sorry youāre having to through this. I had a chemical in March after my first round & I tested out untill I got a stark white negative. Itās so hard when youāre still getting faint positives. Here if you need to talk xx
Thanks ladies ā¤ļø all symptoms gone now so can take a final test and stop drugs tomorrow
Clinic have said I canāt start a new cycle in 5 weeks ish (just have a period in between). I just need to try and get my positivity back.
This just goes to show how hit and miss the whole process is. Iām in Oxford and you only get one transfer on the NHS. I mean Iām lucky I have savings but how shit is it for people who donāt??? One free transfer just isnāt sufficient really to help people x
