Hi has anyone taken Impryl? If so what were your results? I’ve just bought them for husband and I to try for 3 months prior to starting our first cycle. Look good for sperm but not sure about egg health 🤔

Anyone taken Impryl?
Hi there, my husband took and his morphology went from 1% to 5%. It’s difficult to know what it was that actually made the difference as he also quit alcohol, cycling and ate more healthily generally. He also took zinc and vit c.
Good Luck with everything
Hello, It is hard to know what the best thing to take is when there are several options out there!
I was taking a pre conception multi-vitamin for years but I am not convinced what difference it has made. My AMH is not too bad for my age but it looks like my egg quality is an issue. I looked into Impryl, Proceive (women) and Proxeed (women). The latter only has 200mg of Folic Acid so I decided to rule it out. I ended up getting Proceive. There is a Max version which I plan to move onto soon.
I also got Ubiquinol as that has so many positive reviews.
I am conscious about not taking too much but I am 40 so I feel that I need all the help I can get!
Good luck with Impryl. I know some clinics recommend it. x x
Hi red1981, me and my partner took them for 6months. Due to the expensiveness of them we didn't get anymore. Unsure if they improved sperm or eggs.our levels have been tested at the start of our journey 4years ago and haven't been tested since so I cant compare levels, we've had no pregnancy outcome either but it has worked for other couples hope they work for you ♥️x
hi there, both myself & partner took them and saw huge improvements in sperm count. We actually fell pregnant naturally after 3.5 months of taking Impryl, after 4.5years TCC and x2 ICSI rounds. We also made a lot of lifestyle changes so hard to pinpoint what specifically made the difference. Unfortunately our pregnancy ended in miscarriage, we are now back on the Impryl trying again. Best of luck x
Hi Laura, I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. I fell pregnant in December but lost in March. I'm glad you saw improvement, that's reassuring! Impryl wasn't cheap and we got 3 months worth so fingers crossed. We're throwing everything at the next 3-4 months before starting IVF in autumn/winter. Can I ask what lifestyle changes you made? Did you take anything else ontop of the impryl? Best of luck for you too aswell xx
Gosh so sorry for you too, it's tough picking yourself up again after the loss. We are similar - putting absolutely everything into the next 3+ months to get the best outcome possible.
Lifestyle changes we did - no alcohol, no hot baths for OH, organic food where possible, reduce plastics & perfumed products, lots of fruit, veg & nuts, loose boxer shorts and minimal caffeine - basically none of the fun stuff!! I really took matters into my own hands as we did not get a lot of direction from our consultants. I read 'It starts with the Egg' and Zita West's 'Guide to Fertility and Assisted Conception' both of which i found really useful. I did take a lot of the advise but in moderation, otherwise it really can take over your life. I also listen to the IVF babble cope webinars and various podcasts - Big Fat Negative is a good one xx
Thanks for the reply Laura! I know miscarriage is horrible, Im terrified of getting pregnant again and it happening again :/ I’m a little concerned because Impryl says no to coq10 for example so I’ve stopped taking that. Interestingly the cycle I fell pregnant was when we were on holiday and I didn’t take any of my supplements out with me! Maybe there’s something in this reductive stress thing they mention on their website. 🤷♀️
