Hi everyone, I got a call saying I could start treatment again!! :) I had to call when I started my period so I did on mon 14th June, I then had to start buserelin on Friday 19th I’m having another bleed today Saturday 28th that my clinic wanted, need to call them on Monday and let them know. This is my 1st frozen treatment. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is? How long it normally takes before I have my embaby transferred? Sorry for the long post xx

Yay! Happy for you that things are moving and you're on a treatment plan. I can't remember how long my frozen embryo transfer was; I do remember it being super quick, though. It's all the gearing up for egg collection that seems to be the time and the work on fresh IVF rounds. Good luck with the frozen round! xxx

Hey that’s great news and not long to go now. I think each clinic and person is different but from my period to embryo transfer from the point you are at it was about 3 and half weeks. First they check your lining is thin enough to start more meds (probably in 3-4 days time) then they check your lining is thick enough on the meds (probably about 2 weeks away) then they transfer the following week is my experience xx

Hi hopedream. Do you have a natural or medicated cycle? Praying that both of us get our miracle bubba x

First fet here as well.

-Started progynova (estrogen) on day3

- had first scan on day13

- started progesterone shot and pessary on day13

- 5dt planned for day20

Im a bit anxious because not once was ovulation mentioned. Maybe that isnt important with medicated cycle. If any ladies know i hope they can comment x

Hi mimisami, with a medicated cycle the Progynova stops you from ovulating, this means they can control when your transfer takes place as it’s not dependant on timing it with ovulation xx

Hi Hopedream, it’s good that you’ve started your treatment 😊 the timescales tend to differ slightly with each person/clinic as it will depend on how quickly your lining builds up. So with my clinic they normally start your meds on cycle day 1 or 2, scan on cycle day 14 and start progesterone,

transfer on cycle day 20 for a 5 day transfer). Good luck xx
