Help, help, help?! MMC 🤷🏻‍♀️🙏😓

Ok to all my lovely people out there, long story short, had a MMC at 12 week scan 5 weeks ago...

After 2 courses of tablets to medically manage, I ended up in A&E in a bad way as things were “stuck”. After that 3 weeks of on and off bleeding then had scan which showed retained tissue! Had D&C to remove 2 weeks ago today. Since then, I had no bleeding for a week, but then started bleeding on a off the past week with more constant bleed since yesterday...Sorry for TMI but blood is a mix of normal and bright red / pink!

I feel like I’m losing the plot with what is normal anymore and if anyone out there has had similar experiences or can offer any advice I would extremely greatful!! 🙏 They’ve prescribed antibiotics “just in case” infection - but I have no symptoms of infection other than the bleeding. The minor cramps I’ve had have felt like a period the past day and bleeding has been steadily consistent like a period... so I’ve got no idea what’s going on!! 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry to ask for help, I just feel like burden calling the hospital all the time and thought could be worth posting to you all as I know so many of us have gone through MC’s on here 😔💞💞 Thank you ladies! Xxx

Sorry to hear what you are going through what a palaver. I have had similar but different in that one of my MMC I just never started bleeding so ended up having surgery only had retained tissue so ended up having a second surgery.. I bled for about 11 weeks in the end and I was constantly told it was 'normal'

Have you done an HPT and is it negative yet? It sounds to me like this could be your first period? xx

I've also just gone through a miscarriage so my heart goes out to you. It sounds like this is your period. My period just returned and it started a little funny with a few days of just spotting which is not normal for me so I wasn't sure. It might be helpful to get an Hcg test to double check your level is 0 if your not sure but it sounds like a period to me.

Hey, Im so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your period has begun. Have you taken a pregnancy test to check its negative? If so it's more than likely to be your body getting back to normal. Take care, hope it settles down soon.xx
