So we slipped up and had unprotected sex
a day after taking the Ovidrel trigger shot. I asked my partner to pull out and he said maybe a little still went in. We’re due to have our FET transfer in 2 days.
My instinct says not to worry as we have not conceived for over a year now.
I don’t want to cancel this cycle so far in after booking flights and taking so many meds.
What do you think? Has anyone had this experience?
First of all i want to applaud your sex drive for doing this in the first place! 👏🏼 im so jealous! Willfully wishing the return of mine at some point after 3 years TTC & 2 IVF cycles!
I dont think it should be too much of a problem, have a cool bath & relax. They’ll be removing all your eggs anyway so i think the chances of you getting pregnant naturally is super slim. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Haha just take the Ovidrel, it makes you feel like your ovulating so you get an increased sex drive! Always hard to get into it but once you start it’s fun haha!

You can ask your clinic but for us they said no sex after transfer. Prior was recommended not to but not strictly against. However, each clinic is different.
I'm sure you will be fine but just inform them.

I wouldn’t tell them, if you haven’t conceived in over a year, plus he mainly pulled out, I wouldn’t worry. It’s hugely unlikely you’d get a natural pregnancy on top if an ivf transfer pregnancy. If you tell them they might cancel you xx

I feel better now. Yes I think it’s highly unlikely we conceived and I’ve invested too much into this round to cancel now.
