Just wanted to send some love to my warrior ladies. I have felt a bit distant lately with everything that's been happening, it's all so uncertain isnt it?hubby and I are getting through it, but testing times ey? We work together anyway so used to 24/7 but confinement can take its toll...I mean last weekend we were decorating the living room, he nearly stepped in some paint that I had moved, of course it was my fault, he looked at me horribly and that's it we didnt speak for 2 hours 🤣 but that's isolation for you!

I'm keeping going with doing some fertility yoga through the f.n.charity and keeping up with zita west videos. I thought I was taking lots of supplements but even just the odd addition has made me feel more hopeful. My nurse touched base last week to say I'm on their priority list when they reopen. Because we need time to prepare for ivf due to normal reasons anyway but hubby requires surgical sperm retrieval same time as my egg collection so we are very aware of our diet and supplements, but also how tough isolation is can be testing!! We are making our own plan for a July egg collection (3rd time lucky??) And start down reg in june. Sometimes I feel positive and other days I read articles and I feel like it's never going to happen.

But just wanted to check in, and see if you're all doing ok in these tough times, and hope that your clinics will re open soon, lots of love 💗💗💗💗 xxx

Rang a couple of weeks ago and they just said check the website. Friendly enough but admin wise I’ve never rated it. I know it’s difficult in the current situation but I just mean in general x

Im trying to do some yoga (stretching really) and there are quite some nice videos on youtube. What is really relaxing is a belly/abdomen massage afterwards with some casteroil and relax with a book or ipad. I feel belly warming up. Try it xxxx

Well done for maintaining your diet etc. Had all good intentions of just having a couple of weeks off but finding the monotony quite tough (and were lucky, we’re working from home. I feel for those who have nothing to do 😔) and finding Friday evenings a good excuse for a beer or three.

I wouldn’t normally in a run up to ivf but not know how long this is going to last for is making it hard for me to stay focused. I salute you that you’re managing!!! Well done to you!!!!

Great news they’re looking to start down regging in June for you - that’s amazing. Just having a rough idea in mind of when it will start is really helpful. We’re going to Greece for our next round so no idea when that will be.

Thanks for your lovely reply Jo. No hats off to me really, weve had 3 weeks off the diet and weve had quite a few drinks, so we got back on the health train after Easter and when all the eggs and wine were gone. Its definitely harder now the weather is so nice and the situation it drives you to drink and eat naughty 🤣

Not going to be too hard on ourselves if we have the odd replapse but now weve got a bit of a plan it makes it easier.

Today I was positive but today I feel like our "plan" maybe a bit too premature!!

So glad you've decided on your next steps abroad. That's fab! Have you found a clinic? I hope so much you can get started again soon too xx

I agree, it’s so much harder with the nice weather! It’s raining here atm and forecast to do so for a couple of weeks and I’m almost pleased! It’ll stop me wanting beers & bbqs for a while! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Yeah, we have found a clinic! They’re in Athens, we’ve had a consultation with them & they’ve already suggested loads of things to test and supplements etc that my previous clinic didn’t. We’re really really keen to get over there & get going with it all (obviously) but we already have confidence in them. They were so lovely and kind (our last clinic wasn’t kind at ALL) and thorough.

I reckon your plan is about right you know. I wouldn’t be surprised if UK clinics start opening again in June. Real life won’t return to normal for many more months in my opinion but if we continue to stay in lockdown and they know the NHS isn’t being overwhelmed (because we’re all still in some sort of lockdown) they’ll be able to release the additional staff back to their usual specialties and things like ivf (and other health centres) will be one of the first things to reopen. Xxx

Ah I'm so glad to hear that theyve been really helpful and giving you some new advice and a new plan, it all sounds really positive!! Now just need to get you over there!! Hopefully wont be too long, yes I agree we arent going to go back to any sort of normality for a while but as long as it's no longer a strain and they can treat people safely I dont see why they cant to it soon 🤞xxx
