Its just 7 week started and had the scan in 6th week and saw the flicking heartbeat myself and could not believe but yes I surely should believe as nausea is making my life miserable and in constant pain, from my heart I am still scared because of previous miscarriage and I am trying hard to eat something as v difficult now and it’s the worst part and I don’t feel like normal 😢

Hi Shia,

I'm in a similar boat, just heading into week 8 and the nausea has been quite intense with periods of vomiting. I have no interest in any food, I keep hoping to have cravings but I'm either bloated or nauseous.

Last week I found it helped to eat small amounts (dry bread, crackers or fruit) throughout the day rather than attempting big meals. This controlled the nausea.

I find having an empty stomach makes things worse. Hoping it settles so for you!

First off congratulations, that’s amazing news, I know how overwhelmed I was when I saw my baby at 8 weeks.

I’m now 15 weeks and have been diagnosed with mild hyperemesis when I was 7 weeks and it hasn’t eased yet.

The good news is your body will sort the baby out during the first trimester so don’t worry even if you lose weight (I did) it’s only into the second trimester on you need to start eating more and putting on weight. There are tablets you can get from your GP that are safe in pregnancy that stop you being sick unfortunately they don’t stop the nausea though.

Weirdly I’ve found coke really helps my nausea, initially it was sparking water but I think I was sick too many times after drinking it and now I have an aversion to it 🙄.

Good luck and hopefully the morning sickness eases soon

Congrats on stepping in 15 weeks and it must be looking so real now, my doctor prescribed me some medication which I have to get from pharmacy but was thinking to avoid it as already on progesterone and few medications and this nausea is making my life miserable but hopefully the time will pass as I know you all are here with me and support me and each other and May Allah bless us all Ameen
