Delayed period the month after egg collection 🙃

Hi All.

Hope is al well given the circumstances.

Title says it all. 6 weeks ago I had egg collection, after egg collection my period came about 2 weeks later however, I was due on yesterday for my second period after egg collection and she hasn’t showed any signs.

I didn’t do ivf this way last time as I had prostap then egg collection then had a fresh transfer. My periods took a while last time because of prostap.

This time I’ve had no prostap but my period is late. I don’t feel pregnant but I don’t have my usual period symptoms either. Sore boobs, headaches etc.

Please can someone advice is this normal after egg collection.

I have done a pregnancy test this morning but it’s negative as I said I don’t feel like my period is coming but I don’t feel pregnant either.

Getting worried something is wrong.

Thanks guys 🤪😛

This journey 🙃😏

Hey Faith, I had a similar situation and ended up being 6 days late (usually I’m like clockwork) for the first proper period after withdrawal bleed etc. I think it’s white common as have seen other ladies here report the same. Fingers crossed yours arrives soon :) I don’t think there’s anything to worry about but understand how further delays in all this don’t help! X

I’m in no rush to come on as such with the situation with covid but I’m same as us I’m like clock work so I’m worrying my ovaries have packed in on me 🤷‍♀️ lol xxxx

Hopefully your period arrives soon. With all this treatment and drugs and stress etc. periods can be a bit late. Try not to worry (I know, I know, hard). Lots of love xxx

I am also usually like clockwork and any changes in my period have had me jumping up and down, but each time I've worried it has just been that it's been a little late. A nightmare and worrying to be sure, but even the one time I missed a period completely and went to a doctor, they were like yeah, it's fine sometimes people can just miss periods. I was like what?! No, that's normal, but there wasn't anything wrong.....

Mine was 10 days late after the one that was 2 weeks after egg collection. I blamed it on corona situation anxiety as in my last round it wasn't more than a day or two late. Hope it comes soon.
