What happens after BFP

Spent so long trying to get to this point never thought about asking what happens after! Clinic have told me to phone on 1st with results. What should I expect to happen next?

Congratulations!! Most clinics will give you a scan date for around 7 weeks and some will do bloods but that doesnt seem to be very common in the UK.xx

Thanks for your reply. Was supposed to go for bloods today but they said not to because of corona virus. Just to take a home test. Feel like I would be more reassured with a blood test. So I knew that hcg levels were good. Don’t know how I can wait until 7 weeks. This Tww has been long enough!

Congratulations!! The wait to the scan is also crazy. But just try and relax and enjoy being pregnant x

Just ring your clinic and they will tell you the next steps. I’m going on Thursday to confirm through blood test then they also gave me a letter to my doctors so they can keep prescribing cyclogest.

Every clinic diffrent but keep taking meds, they may adjust slightly. Early scan and then register for midwife. Good luck and congrats x
