Just wondering if any ladies who bled early after tx (day 4/5) can tell me what you done to achieve a successful transfer the next time round?
What helped you get your bfp after bl... - Fertility Network UK
What helped you get your bfp after bleeding early following embryo transfer? ππ½π
Following your post, as I bled at 2 days past 5 day transfer.
Following your post too as I had a bleed a few days before OTD and got the BFN I knew it! Iβm on my second round of IVF now so keeping everything crossed. Xx
what support was yours on the first round? Have u changed anything this time? Good luck!! Xx
We went through IVF ICSI cycle with high dose of meds however this time Iβm on a really low dose of menopur and buserelin - I went in last Friday and started injections and going back on day 6 today for my next scan so not every other day like last time! Fingers crossed everything is doing what it should be! Wishing you all the best and here if you need to talk xx
I would definitely be pushing for a progesterone test if you didnβt have one this time? Might mean you need more than the norm.
What were you drugs wise after egg collection?
Only 2x cyclogest daily π which I now know was no way near enough for me!! I bled on night of day 4 after 5dt
Oh Iβm so sorry I moved clinics recently and they did a progesterone test on transfer day and said it wasnβt high enough. I was on 2 x cyclogest. Now on a daily Lubion injection as well! Currently in my TWW.
Definitely push for a progesterone test although I expect they will increase your progesterone drugs anyway!x
Please ask your clinic to check your progesterone test before transfer. If they say no keep pushing them to give you plenty of progesterone drugs or injections whatever they have. I failed my 2nd round in December for the same reason. My case was it happened on day 9 before OTD at both times. My clinic only gave me Crinone gel(once a day) nothing else, even in my 2nd round when they knew early bleeding happened with my 1st round, Nothing changed. Very disappointed indeed. I was thinking to ask them to do progesterone blood test and precribe me more progesterone but didn't do it, which I regret so much. I have one frostie to go later this year so this time I'm gonna push them more and more with the progesterone level check.
I defo will be damanding them to check my levels, I even offered to pay on the last go (nhs) they also done my transfer knowing I had hydrosalpinx..! Just thought they would try anyway. But I have no had the hydro removed and awaiting to start my fet beginning of feb! It should be standard for them to check progesterone, so many people have the same problem! Now Iβm panicking about my embryos surviving the the thawxx
Iβm so scared to even put myself through this mental torture for another bfn.. but we stay positive and continue ππͺπΌ Xx
After a lot of personal research on the matter, it's scientifically proven that the pessaries or suppositories go straight to the womb where its needed and not to the blood like the injections do. Hence, progesterone in the womb from pessaries use is about 3 times more than blood or serum levels which is why most clinics don't bother testing especially when one is on pessaries.
But that said, everyone is different and research results again show that 'bestest' bet is a combination of vaginal and IMs.
... I'll love to be on both vaginal and injections to err on the 'bestest' side, if my clinic would listen π€¦π½ββοΈ
I was on pio 1.5 cc daily and endometrin vaginal suppositories.
Doing and era then back to a FET hopefully in February or March.
