Anyone else sick of hearing about the Baby Boom in 9 months

Really sick of hearing that the isolation will bring a baby boom in 9 months... unfortunately some of us aren’t that lucky

It's not fair at all! Fertility is never once thought about with these comments not once. Its just not spoken about enough for it to even register on a large scale.

We dont even have a 1% chance naturally, I would love nothing more than to be in isolation in the hope that one of these months could just well be the one 🙈 xxx

Argh you never know!! 🤣 those words!! My gran bless her is 83 so she doesn't have a clue, she said those exact words...well love..You ...never...know...all I wanted to say was..well gran that's actually no sperm coming out at all so if that does happen then happy days 😳😅

My mother in law is like this, she almost implies it’s me that is the reason even tho infertility runs on her side of the family and my husband has sleepy sperm with no tails in very short supply ! ( please let me never be cross enough to say that out loud 😂🤣)!

YES! Really sick of it! But on the other side I've heard there's going to be a load of divorces so.... that's not great either! I imagine 9 months from now we'll be even sicker about hearing about the "coronials".

Yes! So sick of hearing it (especially because I’m a midwife!!)

If it wasn’t tough enough having to look after pregnant women all day, deliver their babies etc etc, having treatment cancelled and then people joking about this baby boom.

Also, if they’ve cancelled fertility treatments because they don’t know the effects of this virus on pregnancy... shouldn’t they be advising people to use protection whilst being in isolation etc.

Feels like a constant battle!

Yep, I want to poke every person who says it in the eye! I had immunology tests in Spain JUST as they went into lockdown and now my Reproductive Immunologist has been drafted in by the Spanish Military to work on the Corona Vaccine; so finding out the results of my tests has been put on hold... arragghhhh!! What we really need now is Princess Eugenie to announce her pregnancy or for Nutmeg to pop another sprog.... NOT!

People are just ignorant when it comes to infertility and they are generalizing when they say things. I personally love the look on peoples faces when you hit back and say 'well for some it's not that easy' they soon shut the hell up!!! 😆

I have to admit I’ve been commenting on all the posts I’ve seen from my friends with a short message along the lines of sadly that’s not the case for many of us, especially as IVF has been cancelled. I’m fed up of reading them... I’m hoping for some miracles for us all through this and that things are up and running again soon xx

It’s driving me mad.... especially when my own mother who knows I’ve been doing IVF for 2 years says ‘oh there you go look, could be your time’ not really mum.... they’re cancelling all IVF and I. Any just stay at home doing it like a 🐇 and hope for the best 🙄 then the who ha about them abortions they want to allow at home.... hello some of us just want to be pregnant!!!! Hate hate hate the whole situation xx
