Any experiences with pregnacare?

I started using pregnacare pre conception at the end of February. I am only overdue by a couple of days but my periods have always been 28 days bang on and now I am worried the pregnacare is messing with my system. I have had a few period cramps but nothing compared to my usual but not bloating or anything like I normally get. Should I just stop these? Dont want my system to be messed up xx

Hmmm - I've taken them for years ever since starting ttc with no issues - have been overdue two or three times over the years but I don't think that had anything to do with it. There's nothing in there that you wouldn't find in any multivitamin, just slightly different doses. But I guess some people don't get on with vitamin supplements? Xx

I haven’t had this with pregnacare but I have had this with seven seas conception AND a more natural vitamin called Pregnaplan. They both sent my cycles bonkers and when I contacted the companies they just said it was impossible - however as soon as I stopped them it all went back to normal! x

I took them for a few months in the run up to our second cycle. I was bang on with my periods. I’m late this month but I put that down to my failed cycle messing with my system rather than pregnacare. I would be interested to hear what others think tho xxxx

It’s just vitamins so shouldn’t effect your cycle. I took them with no issues. If you are feeling a bit of stress with everything going on right now then that may effect things. Hope it normalises soon xx

That is interesting! I think i used a few boxes before my first round of icsi and to be honest im irregular and unexplained so never gave it a second thought. I switched over to the normal pregnancy multivitamin just because it was cheaper i suppose. X

I had the exactly same problem as you. Made my cycles go all over the shop, so I had to stop taking them and once I stopped they went back to normal xx

I think we all know our own bodies better than anyone else, so if you're finding you're not getting on with them then that's totally possible. I found/find them fine, but then we're on so much stuff while going through IVF, that I don't know if I'd even notice to be honest! xxx
